Abstract Submission Guidelines

The abstract should contain no more than 300 words that illustrate original research, or experience from the field on the subjects which have never been presented at any international conference.

All submissions should fall under following sub-themes:

  • Leveraging Regulatory Networks for Access to Quality, Safe and Affordable Medical Products Including Digital Tools for Strengthening Regulatory Systems
  • Smart Safety Surveillance for Strengthening Pharmacovigilance Systems- Progress Updates and Next Steps

  • Regulatory Approaches for Approval of Pharma & Biosimilar Drugs- USFDA, EMA Models
  • National Regulation and International Agreements including Pricing of Medical Products for Affordable Access

All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by an independent Scientific Committee.

The authors of the accepted abstracts will be invited to participate in the Conference, either as oral or poster presentations.

If accepted to present in the main conference sessions, the author may be required to adjust the scope of their presentation to fit with the session objectives and format.

Posters

We invite registrations for Poster presentation for the 2019 World Conference. The Conference promises to be an opportunity for sharing experiences and advancing increased access to medical products globally as part of universal health coverage (UHC) and in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Kindly submit abstracts through the registration form on the website (http://worldsdg2030.org/registration-form.aspx). Following this, your abstract would be reviewed by Committee of experts and you would receive login ID and Password on your registered email ID in case your abstract is accepted. You can then access the dashboard on the website using Login ID and Password and upload the poster using the poster template provided. The last date of abstract submission is 31 October 2019.

Instructions for Posters

Posters will be displayed from 19-21 November 2019, all day long and presenters should be available during the lunch timing 1:30 pm- 2:30 pm.

The posters to be kindly printed by participant himself/herself. Please adhere to the exact dimensions of 100cm by 75 cm and use the template provided.

  • Posters may not contain any commercial/industry logos (as per WHO regulations), only contact information.
  • Your poster should include your poster number assigned to you by organizers (will be shared in due course) on the upper right corner.
  • All posters must include a Disclosure indicating source/s of funding and any conflicts of interest, if applicable.
  • You are responsible for ensuring the high quality resolution poster to be sent in soft copy as well through the website dashboard.
  • The poster presentation is intended to communicate information rapidly. It is supposed to represent a well-designed and engaging display of information. Therefore, information must be presented in an easy-to-comprehend way and should be readable from approximately 1 meter away.
  • You are responsible for putting up your poster on the day of your presentation, before 08:30 AM. You will be provided with pins and/or tape. For any support regarding the same please approach the registration desk at the venue.
  • At the end of the day, you are kindly requested to take down the poster at 18:00. If you do not take down the poster yourself, it will be removed.

Workshops

We invite registrations for Workshops during the 2019 World Conference. Kindly visit the website www.worldsdg2030.org/ and register for workshops. 

Kindly submit abstracts through the registration form on the website (http://worldsdg2030.org/registration-form.aspx). The submissions required for the registration of workshops include the following:

  • Title of the workshop
  • Abstract entailing the rationale, objectives and proposed outcomes
  • Tentative agenda
  • Panel of speakers (along with their contact details and e-mail IDs)

Following this, your abstract would be reviewed by Committee of experts and you would receive login ID and Password on your registered email ID, in case your abstract is accepted. The last date of abstract submission is 31 st October 2019.

Exhibits

There will be an exhibit area for Member States, NGOs and universities. Please note the following information about the exhibition:

  • No Commercial/Industry Branding of any kind is allowed. Logos from non-commercial entities, such as universities and NGOs, are acceptable. Company brochures, if they are to be displayed, will need to be printed without any commercial logos and branding on devices will need to be covered.
  • Exhibition space consists of one table (1.8 m by 0.6 m)
  • It is important that you or another designated representative be present at your table during the exhibit times (coffee breaks and lunch).
